Professional Registration

First-Time Applicants

If you have never attended the London Super Comic Convention as a professional, or if you have attended under another category but are now working as a creative professional, you are a first-time applicant.

Before you apply as a professional, please read the professional qualifications (below).

Once you have confirmed that you meet the required qualifications, please complete the details required below.

Your application and verification materials must be emailed by July 28th, 2017.

Applications sent after this date will not be considered.

Once you have submitted your application and verification materials, please allow 2 weeks for processing and review. You will be notified via email if you are approved or declined. If you do not receive a response from London Super Comic Convention after 2 weeks, please contact professional@londonsupercomicconvention.com

Verification Material Requirements

Verification materials can take the form of credited creative work or, if work is uncredited, both proof of employment and job title must be provided.

Here are the guidelines:

For Credited Work

If your work appears with credits, please circle where your name is credited and mark the page clearly so we can easily locate your credits. Do not send a URL or link.

You can submit a scan of the credits page; a sample of the work; a screen capture; photocopies of SAG, Writers Guild, or Directors Guild cards; end credits of a game; freelance contracts; membership in the National Cartoonists Society or CAPS; or a printed-out webpage such as IMDB, MobyGames, etc. that clearly displays your name and title as a creator.

Scans must be readable or your application will be returned.

For Uncredited Work

Please submit two forms of verification that show your qualifying job title, position, or type of work and the company you work for.

These may include a business card and employee badge, a printout of your company webpage listing you as a principal or executive of the company, or a letter from the company stating your name and your job title as an artist of some type or as a company executive. Please note that a pay stub or employee badge alone is not sufficient verification unless the job title is listed on the document.

Freelance artists may submit a letter (on company letterhead) from a company stating that the artist has completed freelance artwork for them that is not credited.

Returning Professionals

Those who have previously applied and were approved as a creative professional or trade professional are considered returning professionals for LSCC 2017.

Individuals who previously attended the London Super Comic Convention in Artist Alley or as Exhibitors are not on file as returning professionals and should complete the first-time applicant process as described above.

Returning Professionals should fill out the details below and tick the Returning Professional Box in the Verification section. Returning Professionals in 2016 will not need to provide verification materials for LSCC 2017.

The London Super Comic Convention requires that all professionals submit verification materials every three years.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

There will be NO onsite registration. The only way to apply for a LSCC 2017 professional badge is to submit a "London Super Comic Convention 2017 Application for Professionals form" and supporting verification materials by the July 28th deadline date and be approved by the London Super Comic Convention.

Verified professionals must register for a badge each year they plan to attend and provide verification materials demonstrating their continued qualifying work in the industry every three years.

Professional badges are limited, and not all applicants who meet the guidelines can be accommodated.

Professional verification and approval is ultimately at the discretion of the London Super Comic Convention. All application decisions are final and cannot be appealed, nor will applicants be able to submit further information later if the application is not approved. The London Super Comic Convention reserves the right to approve all or deny all applications.

Professional registration will close when capacity is reached.

Each professional must apply separately.

Please keep in mind that a London Super Comic Convention professional badge is a courtesy and is non-transferable.

You may not transfer or sell your LSCC 2017 professional badge. Any individuals found to have done so will be disqualified from Professional applications at all future London Super Comic Convention events
